TurnPoint Services has an immediate need for a Multi-Unit Regional Human Resources Manager in AZ. who will lead the HR function. The Human Resources Manager will proactively engage with business operations to develop and drive HR initiatives to support business objectives. This role encompasses a broad range of HR support, including performance management, compensation and benefits administration, training and development, compliance, and talent acquisition.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- Partner with brand leaders to develop and execute strategic goals that directly support and enable business objectives.
- Build partnerships with a diverse group of business leaders, management, and employees, providing expert HR guidance and resources to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention.
- Provide policy interpretation, coaching, counsel, and training support to the brand leaders that set the tone for a healthy long-term relationship.
- Resolve complex employee relations issues including investigating formal complaints involving working conditions and discrimination, assessing risk, making recommendations to management for effective resolution and ensuring documentation is sufficient to withstand legal scrutiny.
- Drive the coordination and execution of performance management processes, including management training, calibration sessions, and reviewing and approving corrective actions or performance improvement plans (PIP).
- Strategize with business leaders on talent management and organizational development efforts, including employee development, succession planning, and organization design and structure.
- Serve as a liaison between assigned brands and COE’s, to develop integrated scalable and sustainable solutions based on the needs of the business.
- Drive utilization of Shared Services for all brands.
- Analyze trends and metrics to develop and recommend solutions, programs, and policies.
- Lead change management initiatives by creating awareness, understanding, buy-in and ownership for change.
- Conduct regular meetings with respective brand leaders to maintain an up-to-date understanding of retention, employee engagement and people need.
- Participate in cross-functional project teams and/or work independently on a variety of projects.
- Ensure onsite HR legal compliance by monitoring federal, state, and local requirements; conduct periodic audits of employee records and survey materials.
- Inform the Director of HR Operations on all serious HR related matters that can adversely impact the brand, division and/or the company and inform other functional departments as needed (see Escalation doc).
- Collaborate with the EH&S team and Brand Safety Leaders in managing activities related to Risk, Safety and Worker’s Comp.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related field
- A minimum of 7 years of progressive human resources experience, with at least 7 years in a strategic/consultative HR partner or HR management role
- Previous experience in maintaining multi-site relationships and manage time and responsibilities effectively, by assessing and prioritizing the needs and level of urgency.
- A deep understanding of employee relations concepts, including policy development, investigations, conflict resolution, risk assessment, and employment laws (multi-state experience preferred).
- Demonstrated experience working with and providing coaching and consultation to all levels of Management on strategic and tactical HR-related business items.
- Ability to effectively manage multiple, changing priorities in a fast-paced environment with a sense of urgency while balancing multiple brands and projects.
- Self-directed and self-motivated with the ability to take initiative in identifying and anticipating client needs.
- High level of integrity, discretion, attention to detail and collaborative nature.
- The ability to travel, including overnight, to multiple brands and company events/meetings.
