ConData, the leader in global post freight and parcel audits, is seeking an experienced, intrinsically motivated Account Manager to join its growing team.
Position Purpose
The Account Manager position is responsible for implementation of new business and optimizing and maintaining ConData Freight Audit performance post- implementation. This role encompasses both commercial and account service responsibilities. Commercial responsibilities include negotiating contract renewals, ensuring compliance with Master Services Agreement and Statement Of Work (SOW) provisions, and wallet share expansion. Account service responsibilities include working with internal teams to address and resolve conflicts between clients and ConData in the best interests of ConData and actively managing and resolving issues in an Account Manager ticketing queue.
Essential Responsibilities
Serve as primary Commercial contact for ConData Freight Post-Audit clients
Serve as primary Program Management contact to deliver on Clients’ and ConData’s long term objectives and maintain strategic alignment with Clients
Identify key stakeholders for each client in an assigned book of business and develop “trusted advisor” relationships with those key stakeholders
Handle escalations for both external and internal inquiries regarding operational support and facilitate the resolution of issues as they arise
Leverage key client contacts to troubleshoot client issues or offer unique solutions
Identify business opportunities within the book of business by developing a robust understanding of the client’s full transportation spend, and work with VP Account Management to expand wallet share of existing clients
Understand the scope of Client’s Supply Chain & Logistics footprint, business priorities, and operations to maintain strategic alignment and deliver business value
Implement new clients in conjunction with Onboarding specialist and IT to optimize and maintain freight post-audit performance
Keep up with book of business contract expiration dates and initiate and manage the contract renewal process beginning at least six months prior to expiration
Conduct periodic reviews of and update SOWs as required to deliver optimal freight audit performance for Client and ConData
Liaise with clients on behalf of ConData’s internal stakeholders, assisting with challenging client requests or issue escalations as needed
Collaborate with Sales team to identify and close new opportunities to grow revenue
Report regularly on account status, including key account metrics and business initiatives
Prepare weekly update to include: Key Performance Indicators (KPIs); assistance required from leadership; customer participation (exception resolution, carrier rate and contract issues, other customer service issues, etc); customer open issues, project log tracking, actions needed and commitment for resolution
Job Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience of at 4+ years in an Enterprise Account Management role

Strong project management, analytical and quantitative abilities

Experience with client process requirement discovery and developing appropriate process design and IT specifications

Effective verbal, written, and presentation skills

Basic knowledge of Freight Payment, TMS, ERP/ Accounting and transportation related system preferred

Knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office Suite, Atlassian Suite, and CRM systems

Prior Sales or Account Management experience in logistics with Fortune 1000-level clients preferred

Freight Audit/ Payment experience preferred
