A Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Company in Canton, Massachusetts is looking for a Quality Assurance Inspector (QA Inspector) - 2nd Shift (3:30 PM - 12:00 AM) to perform inspection activities for the Quality Assurance Department. Using various inspection techniques and methodologies will inspect for visual, dimensional and some physical test attributes. Work may be performed in various environments e.g., clean room areas and Receiving, etc. Will provide training.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Performs inspection activities in receiving, filling, packaging, support, compounding and retain areas. Ability to use basic inspection tools such as; pH meter, conductivity meter, candling workstations, micrometers, calipers, and scales.
- Perform inspections of material at receiving, in-process, final release to assurance conformance to product specifications.
- Maintain adequate records of inspections and testing.
- Initiate non-conforming material reports upon detection of non-conforming material under instruction.
- Interface with various departments on related quality issues under instruction.
- Verification of manufacturing operations during manufacturing and logbook review.
- Monitor and maintain records for warehouse temperature monitoring.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE: High School graduate or GED required or may substitute 3 three years of experience for educational requirements.
