Job Description:
We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Service Advisor to join our team. As a Service Advisor, you will be the primary point of contact for our customers, assisting them with their vehicle service needs and ensuring a seamless experience from start to finish.
Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and ascertain their service needs
- Provide accurate estimates for repairs and maintenance
- Schedule appointments and manage service appointments effectively
- Communicate with customers throughout the service process, keeping them informed of progress and any additional work required
- Upsell additional services as needed
- Ensure customer satisfaction by addressing any concerns or issues promptly and professionally
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Collaborate with technicians and other team members to ensure timely and quality service delivery
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Service Advisor or in a similar customer service role is preferred, but not required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on building long-term relationships
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of automotive systems and repairs is preferred, but not required
- Proficiency in computer software systems, including MS Office and automotive service management software preferred, but not required
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification from automotive industry training programs is a plus
