Position: Part-Time Leasing Counselor
Work Hours: Saturdays (10am to 5pm) and special events as scheduled
Role Overview: As a Leasing Counselor, you will be the first point of contact for prospective residents, showcasing our Cottage and Apartment Homes, and providing them with all the information they need to make informed decisions. You will also participate in special events, promoting our community and enhancing the overall resident experience.
Essential Skills:
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities. Proficiency in basic computer tasks, including data entry and office software.
- Customer service skills to provide a welcoming and informative experience for prospective residents.
- Sales acumen with a focus on achieving leasing targets.
- Organizational and time-management skills.
Requirements:
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
- Flexibility to work Saturdays and attend special events as necessary.
- Ethical, sound decision-making, and excellent problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with team members and other departments.
Qualifications:
- Experience in sales, customer service, or leasing is preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent; some college education in sales/marketing, business, or a related field is desirable.
- Prior experience in apartment leasing or real estate is a plus but not required.
