Dental Assistants are vital to our Dental team as they maintain the overall physical operations of the clinical area and assist the Dentist in the delivery of dental care services. The Dental Assistant, in collaboration with the dental care team, is accountable for assisting our patients towards their highest level of health. Additional responsibilities include:
- Coordinating patient flow with the receptionist and dental providers.
- Assisting the Dental Receptionist on an as needed basis.
- Perform procedures such as x-ray exposure and development, fluoride therapy, patient study and working models, etc.
- Maintains the inventory and proper sterilization of all instruments and supplies, excluding medicines, and prepares rooms daily.
- Assist dental providers in treatments, diagnostic exams, and surgical interventions.
- Uses four-handed dental technique.
- Taking vital signs- blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration taking skills.
- Knowledge and proper handling and mixing of dental materials, cements, etc.
- Computer use and Knowledge.
- Maintains CPR Certification, continuing education requirements for/and certification.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED certificate REQUIRED.
- Dental Assistant Certificate PREFFERED.
- Completion of accredited Dental Assistant Program and/or 2-3 years successful work experience as a Dental Assistant REQUIRED.
- Excellent customer service communication skills and organizational skills REQUIRED.
- Bilingual skills are a PLUS.

Pay: $16.85 - $23.75 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
