What We Offer
The City and County of Denver offers a competitive salary commensurate with education and experience. The salary range for this position is $21.47-32.21, however the target hiring range is $21.47-$26.84. We also offer generous benefits for full-time employees which include but are not limited to:

Location
The City and County of Denver supports a hybrid workplace model. Employees work where needed, at a job site several days a week and off-site as needed. In this position you can expect to be in office 4 days a week during training. After training is complete, you can expect to work 3 days in office and 2 days from home. In office days will be at the Castro Building (1200 N Federal Blvd).

The Family and Adult Division (FAAD) of Denver Human Services is seeking out a flexible, adaptable, and detail-oriented individual to serve as a Document Management Technician II. In this role, you will be tasked with working in the application cells and conduct various aspects of document management operations. The App Cell team within FAAD processes incoming PEAK and Paper Applications in Denver County from clients who are applying for public assistance programs (Food Assistance, Financial, Medicaid, and TANF). Duties for this role include application initiation in Colorado Benefits Management System (CBMS), scheduling eligibility interviews in work management system (WMS), tracking production on various excel and other Microsoft worksheets, occasional client contact via phone and determining program needs such as redetermination or new application processing and creating tasks for eligibility workers to determine eligibility.
Specifically, as the Intake Document Management Technician your duties will include:
Application and Document Assessment
Reviews PEAK/Paper applications and/or documents submitted by clients for public assistance programs.
Confirm that the applications and documents are complete and meet the required standards for approval, forwarding applications and/or documents to the Supervisor or Lead when processing is required in another county.
Client Interaction
Database Research
Document Indexing:
Data Input and Workflow Management
Apply knowledge in public assistance programs and utilize information gathered from database research to input essential data.
Classify and direct relevant applications and/or documents, establishing workflow tasks within the systems.
Quality Assurance
Procedure and Workflow Enhancement
Evaluate, suggest, and implement modifications to procedures and workflow, ensuring efficient and effective document management.
Issue Tracking and Communication

Education requirement: Graduation from high school or the possession of a GED, HiSET or TASC Certificate
Experience Requirement: Two (2) years of clerical experience and one (1) year of experience as a Document Management Technician I.
Education/Experience Equivalency: Additional appropriate education may be substituted for the minimum experience requirements.
