Responsibilities
We are seeking a fully licensed social worker as the Clinical Director of our second office in Rochester, opening October 2024. The responsibilities of the Clinical Director include:
- Interviewing and Training
- Staff Management and HR
- Supervision and Consultation
- Policies and Procedures Management
- Clinical and Administrative Oversight/Support
- Documentation Reviewing
- Community Outreach/Marketing
- Organizational Leadership
- Client Satisfaction Management
- Direct Client Care (if desired)
The Clinical Director will be supported by the owner in executing these functions.
Qualifications
1. Master’s degree in social work from an accredited college or university.
2. Fully licensed social worker in the state of Michigan.
Skills & Experience
- Ideal applicants should have an understanding of outpatient therapy services, community resources, and knowledge of adequate behavioral health documentation.
- Proficient diagnostic capabilities and experience in developing and completing treatment plans.
- Able to manage a team of professionals and capable of exhibiting excellent people management (human resource) skills in building a successful team and strong practice culture.
- Proficient with standard clinic technology (email, phone, computer) and the ability to learn and use an Electronic Health Records system.
- Ability to review, critique, and approve, detailed, clear, and organized patient notes and other required documentation.
- Ability to teach and uphold company policies and procedures.
- Experience in clinical supervision (preferred).
- Highly effective interpersonal, communication, and listening skills.
- Willingness to welcome training and feedback to learn to work autonomously.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills + time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to adapt in an evolving work environment and accept additional responsibility as needed.
- Ability to exercise professional judgement.
