Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Restoration Technician to join our team. As a Restoration Technician, you will be responsible for assisting in the restoration of properties affected by water damage, fire damage, storm damage, and mold. This is a hands-on role that requires knowledge of restoration techniques, restoration equipment and the ability to operate power and hand tools.
Duties:
- Perform water damage restoration tasks, including extracting water, drying affected areas, and removing damaged materials
- Conduct carpet cleaning and upholstery cleaning to restore items to their pre-loss condition
- Utilize power tools and hand tools to remove debris, demolish damaged structures, and prepare surfaces for restoration
- Assist in fire restoration efforts by cleaning soot, removing smoke odor, and repairing fire-damaged areas
- Participate in mold remediation projects by identifying and removing mold-infested materials
- Follow safety protocols and industry standards for asbestos abatement when necessary
- Clean and maintain equipment used in restoration projects
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of water damage restoration techniques and industry best practices
- Proficiency in carpet cleaning methods and upholstery cleaning procedures
- Familiarity with power tools and hand tools commonly used in the restoration industry
- Ability to work in physically demanding environments and lift heavy objects as needed
- Attention to detail to ensure thorough cleaning and restoration processes
- Excellent problem-solving skills to address unexpected challenges during projects

Pay: $16.50 - $21.00 per hour
