We are seeking an experienced, full time Electrical Inspector to join our team. This position works primarily in the field at various job site locations in the Las Vegas, Nevada area.

Observe contractor and consultant activities during construction and provide photos and daily inspection reports to document work in the field.
- Observe electrical installation for good workmanship and NEC compliance.
- Review field installation versus the Contract Documents, notify Contractor and Engineer of discrepancies.
- Review shop drawings and RFI submittals, and provide responses.
- Observe start-up and commissioning efforts.
- Witness megger testing of power cables.
- Witness wire continuity testing, Instrument calibration and loop check activities.
- Perform electrical and instrumentation field data gathering.
- Perform field verification of control panels and electrical distribution systems.
- Keep track of the progress/schedule of all projects going on at the facilities.

Minimum of three (3) years electrical, instrumentation and industrial controls experience, preferably in the water/wastewater industry.
- Understanding and ability to interpret the NFPA 70 (NEC), 70E and NFPA 820 as required.
- Ability to read and understand single-line diagrams, power plans, control schematics, conduit block diagrams, P&IDs and control descriptions.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to perform work with minimal supervision.
