Overview: Responsible for the implementation of people strategies aligned with business plans by providing HR and IR coaching, guidance to ensure labor law and SunTree policy/procedure compliance and ways of working. Provide full life cycle recruiting, onboarding, and exit management in partnership with HR Manager. Support and partner with the HR Manager in the design, execution, and maintenance of HR architecture related to change management, organization design and workplace planning, HR cost and budget management, organizational communication intra/external communication strategy, policy develop/education/tracking/regulatory compliance, talent acquisition, employee engagement and culture.
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Salary and Hourly (IR) Business Partner
· Provide education, coaching, guidance, insights, direction, and mediation support to salary and hourly management and staff to ensure compliance with statutory regulations and Company policy.
· Through understanding core business strategy, business processes, and business drivers engage, influence, negotiate, problem solve, manage conflict, and settle differences which ensure regulatory compliance and internal accountability to policy.
· Drive baseline change management initiatives and culture continuous improvement through hire order listening, honest analysis, feedback, patience, and empathy, hold managers and employees accountable for meeting required Company standards.
· In partnership with managers, provide coaching and support to build management capability to document, follow, and execute formal discipline engagements in compliance with regulatory and Company policy.
Talent Acquisition ,Recruitment,& Selection Management
· Execute recruitment initiatives and campaigns to attract high quality candidates through a variety of channels (associations, community-based organizations, networking forums, LinkedIn, social media, etc.).
· Provide HR Manager with full-cycle recruitment support on designated salaried roles including job postings, sourcing candidates, screening, and interviewing candidates, Manager coaching support, and guiding them through the hiring process through to offer and onboarding.
· Ensure diversity, equity and inclusion is incorporated throughout the recruitment process.
· Constantly review and update interview and recruitment collateral to ensure best practices and competitive advantage by promoting the company’s reputation and employer brand.
· Provide professional support and advice on recruitment matters to Managers.
· Maintain current job descriptions and assist in the development of new ones in collaboration with HR Manager and larger HR Trophy/SunTree network.
· Support HR Manager in ensuring recruitment and agency hiring within Define and own talent acquisition budget with the target being no use of outside recruiters.
Communication
· In collaboration with HR Manager define, creation, execute, and maintenance formal communication mediums (vacancy postings/employee boards/townhalls/intranet/policy sign off/events ).
· Support HR Manager via execution on annual regulatory and compliance reporting.
· Create materials that align with Management’s marketing/recruitment strategies and support efforts to effectively promote the Company.
· Ensure that all communications for the organization are accurate and consistent.
HR Architecture Support
· Support HR Manager and Operations teams related to Operations development and execution of Company EHS and OSHA strategies/execution/documentation.
· Support HR team members related to annual benefits sign off execution.
· Assist with the planning, development, refinement and implementation of HR-related programs, policies, and procedure; collaborate with special projects as required.
· Support the HR team in the execution of employee engagement events and activities both internal and with regards to SunTree corporate responsibility initiatives within the local community.
· Back-up for the Payroll and Benefits functions
· Support HR manager in the development and execution of Customer compliance audits as required by customers.
· Execute HR projects as assigned.
Experience, Qualifications, and Educational Requirements:
· Degree or post-secondary education in Human Resources or SHRM certification.
· Demonstrated HR/IR Business Partner experience within a 3-shift manufacturing environment.
· Demonstrated experience recruiting operations/quality assurance/warehouse/hourly roles within a (preferably CPG) manufacturing.
· Proven understanding and experience related understanding and ensuring compliance with Federal and State Labor and OSHA other employment-related legislation.
· Comfortable and confident collaborating, influencing, negotiating top down, bottom up, and across all staff.
· Proven emotional maturity and composure through effective listening, patience, approachability, caring, courage, respectfully challenging, and empathy.
· Effective communicator across all mediums and varying/diverse audiences. Audiences (Spanish literacy is an asset)
· Strong organizational and time management skills and have experience managing a high volume of work with competing priorities and deadlines.
· Thrive in a fast-paced, continually evolving change management environment.
· A high degree of proficiency with MS Office, with advanced knowledge in Excel. Working Knowledge of HR systems and payroll systems is an asset.
· Collaborative, high energy, professional team player with judgement to handle sensitive situations with tact, diplomacy, and high ethical standards.
· Capable occasionally working across a 3-shift operation when required to execute assignments.
· The role is onsite role at the Phoenix facility.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $80,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
