REQUIREMENTS:
- This position requires a high attention to detail and quality.
- This position requires demonstrated flexibility and the ability to work with others in a positive manner.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks of planning and tracking shipments.
- Ability to work overtime.
- Ability to work weekends, when needed.
- Must follow directions well.
- Knowledge of MS Office applications (Excel/Word/Outlook)
- AS400 system experience preferred.
- Good attendance is a must.
- Previous carrier (TL & LTL) shipping experience preferred.
- Sit down forklift experience preferred.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Understand daily shipment schedules and customer service level agreements.
- Communicate and plan with carrier vendors for outbound shipments.
- Verify pallet/case counts on shipments.
- Initiate requests for researching missing units/cases needed for shipments.
- Collect data to produce end of month and other shipping reports.
- Ensure compliance with safety guidelines in assigned area.
- Assist on load/unload as needed.
HOURS: 1st shift hours: 10am - 6:30pm, Monday thru Friday. Some overtime may be required.
