A fast-growing mass tort law firm is looking for a highly motivated, tech-savvy, and self-efficient office manager/executive assistant to join our team. This person will handle office operations, building management, tenant relations, streamlining systems, and managing personnel. The hire will also assist the owner of the firm with a broad range of personal business, management, and administrative tasks.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Maintain front-facing relationships with contractors, service providers, vendors, and tenants
- Obtain bids for and handle property maintenance and repairs
- Keep office systems running smoothly (including ordering office supplies, organizing filing systems and documents, and maintaining and ordering equipment as necessary)
- Carry out human resources tasks and office administration duties
- Assisting with administering payroll (verifying work hours, leave time)
- Assist in maintaining, enforcing, and improving office policies and procedures
- Handle vehicle maintenance and assist with other errands as needed
Qualifications:
- Strong proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Adobe Acrobat
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Detail oriented and able to prioritize, multi-task, and work well under pressure.
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Professional, polite, and positive client-centric attitude
