- 1st shift only: M-Th, 4 day work week. 10 hour shift.
What is the Job Description?
You are tasked with readying and putting together our products and preparing them for shipment. A high level of accountability is required since there won’t be many checks in place. The person must be extremely detail oriented AND willing to double-check their work to insure proper implementation.
Some of the requirements for the Secondary Operations/Order Fulfillment Person follow:
- Proficiency in blue print reading and use of measuring instruments – will be performing inspection of parts prior to assembly.
- Test and calibrate parts and mechanisms to meet tolerance and product specifications.
- Proficiency in performing secondary operations (i.e. broaching, deburring, laser engraving) as necessary in preparing the product for assembly.
- Proficiency in Order Fulfillment by checking the Open Sales orders or Work Orders and packaging / shipping orders as required.
- Proficiency in every aspect of preparation for sale of our products, including cleaning, counting, weighing, assembly, testing, packaging, bar code generation, labeling, etc.
- Proficiency in preparation for delivery to customers by counting, packaging, preparation of shipping boxes/ packages, labels and shipping documents (as required); coordination with freight companies (as required).
- Tasks / assignments may be modified as required.
- Regularly clean up after yourself/activities and your work areas.
Requirements:
High School Diploma / GED or higher, Clean Background, Drug Screen. We are seeking a person who has exceptional positive work habits who will be trained for this position.
