Job Summary
The Community Engagement Liaison is a relationship forward, marketing-minded member of our Community Engagement team and is primarily responsible for developing, maintaining, and leveraging positive relationships with both internal and external stakeholders to better facilitate timely, effective engagement between CK Family Services program staff and our clients and consumers.
Ideal candidates will bring a natural sense of urgency to their work and will be driven by a cautious and precise attention to detail.
General Responsibilities
- Participate in initial and ongoing training, as directed, to develop and maintain a working understanding of the services provided by the CKFS program(s) to which this position is assigned to support.

Engage regularly in conversation with designated program specific staff to understand the day-to-day capacity or needs relating to community engagement for that program.

Assist the Chief Business Development Officer in owning responsibility for developing and maintaining organization level relationships with individuals and organizations in the community who are important/relevant stakeholders of the programs to which this position is assigned, including clients, consumers, and partners.

Meet with external stakeholders (in-person, virtually, email, or phone calls) and collect feedback relating to program service delivery to include quality, quantity, and satisfaction data.

Work with the Chief Business Development Officer to organize, prioritize, and implement goal driven, program specific engagement plans, using relevant information from all stakeholders, that include measurable activities the CEL will perform to maximize engagement between external stakeholders and internal program(s).

Implement and execute assigned activities from those engagement plans.

Work with Chief Business Development Officer to collect, organize, and report on key performance measures related to plan performance and continuously work toward optimizing outcomes.

Typical task activities will include but are not limited to: communicating with internal and external stakeholders through a variety of communications channels (in-person, virtually through video call/meeting, through phone calls, through email messages, through text messages, through social media direct messaging, and others), reading and understanding typed reports, preparing reports, identifying and matching external stakeholder needs with internal stakeholder capacity, problem solving with support from a supervisor, following a plan, identifying opportunities to improve access of external stakeholders to internal program services and participating in conversations with team members regarding those observations.

Qualifications

BA in marketing, public relations, or related field of study and 2+ years’ experience achieving measurable outcomes through managing relationships between service providers and recipients.

Excellent organizational and follow-up skills.

Proficient in basic computer skills that include but are not limited to data entry, Microsoft Office, and company software.

Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills and a willingness to take on new projects with a can do attitude.
- Brings a results-driven approach in the context of a team-oriented environment.

Demonstrated ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.

Perform the physical demands of the position - working indoors with long periods of time sitting; listening and speaking on the telephone; viewing monitor and workstation.
