JOB TITLE: OB/GYN Physician
REPORTS TO: Chief Medical Officer

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Provides quality and comprehensive prenatal and gynecologic care to patients.

Responsible for providing consultations requested by the primary care provider.

Works closely with the primary care provider to ensure that the patient is getting the best in comprehensive medical care.

Participates in continuous improvement and other activities necessary to implement the multi-disciplinary patient-centered medical home approach for the care of patients.

Assists in expanding and enhancing the patient services by participating in outreach and community screenings.

Participates in case management and patient surveys in maintaining quality assurance.

Updates job knowledge by participating in continuing medical educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.

Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:

Graduated from an accredited medical school and licensed to practice in New York State.

Board certified or board eligible status.

At least 1-2 years of experience preferred.

Ability to travel to other sites for coverage as needed.

Bilingual in English and Spanish or Creole/French required.
SALARY: Commensurate with experience.
