Role Overview:
As the General Manager of Hello Sugar, you will oversee all aspects of salon operations, ensuring that our clients receive top-notch services while maintaining a motivated and efficient team. Your leadership will be crucial in driving the salon’s growth, profitability, and maintaining our high standards of service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operational Management:
- Oversee daily salon operations, ensuring smooth and efficient processes.
- Manage scheduling and ensure adequate staffing levels at all times.
- Maintain a clean, welcoming, and safe salon environment.
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback promptly and professionally.
- Team Leadership:
- Recruit, train, and mentor salon staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback.
- Encourage continuous professional development and skill enhancement among team members.
- Financial Management:
- Develop and manage budgets, financial plans, and expenditure.
- Monitor and analyze financial performance, implementing strategies to meet and exceed revenue targets.
- Handle payroll, invoicing, and inventory management efficiently.
- Customer Service Excellence:
- Ensure all clients receive outstanding service and a positive salon experience.
- Implement customer loyalty programs and promotional activities to attract and retain clients.
- Stay updated with industry trends and incorporate new techniques and services to meet customer needs.
- Marketing and Sales:
- Develop and execute marketing strategies to increase salon visibility and client base.
- Utilize social media and other marketing channels to promote salon services and special offers.
- Collaborate with local businesses and participate in community events to enhance the salon’s reputation.
Qualifications:
- 3+ Years of licensure thru the board of cosmetology
- Proven experience as a General Manager or in a similar leadership role within the beauty industry.
- Strong understanding of hair removal techniques, products, and industry trends.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Financial acumen and experience with budgeting and financial planning.
- Proficient in using salon management software and other relevant technology.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
