Pay range and benefits:

$20 - $26.23/hr, salary based on related work experience recruiting, training and managing volunteers.

This position requires working shifts, including weekends.
This position oversees the volunteer program with a focus on recruiting, training, and the daily management of all volunteers. The day to day duties include:.

Assigns daily duties to volunteers.

Arranges and attends offsite promotional events; assigns and supervises volunteers and staff at such events.

Gives instructions and supervises staff in transportation of animals to events.

Participates in the general social media plan of the department including Facebook posts and events, Twitter feeds, department website and email marketing.

Maintains volunteer software, including schedules, attendance records, manual, SOP, reports, and correspondence.
