Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-oriented Leasing Consultant to join our team. As a Leasing Consultant, you will be responsible for assisting prospective residents with finding their ideal rental home and ensuring a smooth leasing process. Duties:
- Greet and assist prospective residents in a friendly and professional manner in person, on the phone and virtually in a timely manner
- Conduct property tours, showcasing the features and amenities of the community as well as all available apartment homes
- Provide accurate information about rental rates, lease terms, and move-in specials
- Process rental applications and all required documentation
- Prepare lease agreements and ensure all required documents are properly executed and all security deposits and fees are collected
-Assist with marketing efforts, including creating online listings and promoting available apartment homes
- Collect rental payments from residents
- Coordinate move-in and move-out inspections with residents
- Address resident inquiries, concerns, and maintenance requests promptly and professionally
-Monitor the community to assist in the enforcement of our community rules
- Maintain organized files and records related to leasing activities
-Assist in planning and executing community events for our residents-Administrative Duties:
-Assist in other administrative tasks assigned by the Community Manager
Postings of notices around the community including common areas such as mailboxes, laundry facilities etc-Qualifications include:
Requirements:
- No direct leasing experience necessary. However previous experience in customer service and administrative roles is required
- Proficient in office software applications (e.g., Microsoft Office) for file management and documentation
- Familiarity with property management software (e.g., OneSite, Yardi) is highly desirable
- Excellent knowledge of Fair Housing regulations and guidelines
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Exceptional phone etiquette and customer service skills
-Multi-tasker, professional, strong organizational skills
-Team oriented and able to work in a fast paced environment
- Someone who exudes positive energy and is able to work every Friday, 9-6pm, Saturday 10-5pm, Sunday 10 - 2pm and Mondays 9-6pm.
Willing to be flexible to work some/most holidays and during times when there is an absence in the office. Although this is for a part-time position, there is room for growth and advancement as we promote from within.
