Install irrigation systems for corporate, commercial and residential clients by digging holes, trenches and backfill using hand tools, including rakes, shovels, picks, hand saws, wheel barrels, and other tools; laying sleeving and spreading materials, including soil, grass seed, gravel and sand; installing irrigation materials, including pipe, joints, sprinkler heads and wire and lateral lines; and operating installation equipment, as needed, including trenchers. Work on indoor controller replacements and indoor piping and wiring. Repair irrigation systems, conduct annual maintenance activities, and adjust irrigation system for Winter months. Install rock gardens, ponds, decks, retaining walls, fences and planters. Install and repair drainage systems and maintain gutters. Mix and spray appropriate fertilizers, herbicides or insecticides for the time of year onto grass, shrubs and trees using hand or automatic sprayers. Wrap sprinkler pipe and burlap trees and plants to protect from a freeze. Load and unload materials and tools and keep them clean. Operate vehicles as needed. Follow all OSHA requirements.
Travel daily to and from job sites, which are all located within normal commuting distance in Comal, Guadalupe, Kendall, Medina, Wilson, Bexar, Atascosa, and Bandera counties. All transportation to job sites provided from main office daily.
