General description of the position: Camp counselor provide daily instruction in the summer camp. We have 3- locations within Atlantic City
Essential tasks & Responsibilities
- Establish Unit or Branch programs, activities and services that prepare youth for success and that creates a club atmosphere.
- Implement daily activities for campers.
- Assure that all safety protocols are follow in each activity.
- Supervise campers in camp activities such as sports, team-building activities, field trips, games, etc.
- Completes the daily attendance forms.
- Assure that the campers take good care of the equipment and facilities.
- Complete incidents and accident reports as necessary.
- Maintain group control and reinforce positive behavior.
- Completes any other task as requested by the camp director or unit director.

Requirements
Physical Demands: It requires standing or seating in regular bases, talk and listening. Ability to use computer equipment, fax, copy machine, calculator etc. Require to drive a motor vehicle.
Mental Demands: Ability to analyze problems, strategic planning, and Project management. Ability to manage problems with concrete variables, collect data and valid conclusions. Ability to read reports and apply concepts.
Communication: Excellent written and verbal language skills that would aloud clear communication internally and externally. Bilingual prefer Spanish/English.
Working Conditions: Work in a normal Club environment which can vary if necessary. It requires transportation between different places.
Education and/or experience: leadership experience, previous camp experience preferred. one year of experience working with children preferred.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $16.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
