Role Description
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team with a full-time role in the Atlanta Metropolitan Area. The RBT will play a crucial role in implementing individualized treatment plans designed by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) to support clients with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and other developmental disabilities. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact in the lives of children and families while gaining valuable experience in the field of ABA therapy.
Qualifications
- Must hold a current Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification.
- Bachelor’s degree in psychology, education, or related field preferred.
- Experience working with individuals with autism or other developmental disabilities.
- Experience in behavioral interventions and implementing behavior plans
- Knowledge of behavior principles.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to client homes and schools within designated service area.
- Pass a criminal background check.
Responsibilities
- Implement individualized treatment plans developed by BCBAs under their supervision.
- Provide one-on-one ABA therapy to clients in both home-based and school-based settings.
- Collect and record data on client behavior and progress during therapy sessions.
- Collaborate effectively with BCBAs, parents, teachers, and other team members to ensure consistency and effectiveness of treatment interventions.
- Maintain professionalism and confidentiality in all interactions with clients and their families.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge in the field of ABA therapy.
- Maintain RBT certification, including necessary renewals.
