UFP Site Built is the leader in designing and manufacturing value-added wood and non-wood products for the construction industry. We offer a wide variety of wood structural components, aluminum decks and rails, and light gauge steel structural components.
The Regional Inside Sales Manager serves Account Managers and RSMs by strategically managing any and all internal sales related workflow functions/processes. This can include the coordination of customer setup, credit, accounts receivable, contract management, pricing, price maintenance, capacity planning and business analytics. This position is responsible for the direct supervision of the inside sales group and single-family pricing team. Additional responsibilities include evaluating and improving the customer experience.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
Coaches, evaluates and assists employees to help them perform tasks
Assist with contract management
Assist with establishing pricing strategy
Lumber market/fundamental analysis and communication
Update and distribute weekly Lumber Composite for 3 groups (CO/UT, MN, TX)
Gather and distribute 3 part comparison for the 3 groups (Market cost, Fundamental, and lumber deck actual) quarterly
Enhancing sales and design workflow
Evaluating Customers (Score, Optimization)
Develop and maintain current and prospective customer scorecard
Analyze customer experience
Assist with Account Receivable (DSO, A/R % current)
Assist with Customer Credit (Credit Apps)
Coordinate with RSMs in Budgeting/Forecasting Unit Sales and Sales $
Sales Forecast vs Actual performance by AM/account (monthly, quarterly, yearly?)
Market Analysis
Analyze and report actual results
Assist with National Sales Training and Development Program
Helps drive new product sales by ensuring proper tracking/reporting
New market research
Qualifications
Minimum of Bachelor’s degree in administration, business, or related area, or equivalent experience
Minimum five years of experience in customer service
Working knowledge and proficiency in the use of computer and business-related software, including Microsoft applications (excel, word, and Outlook)
Working knowledge of various office equipment (computer terminal, scanner, etc.)
Working knowledge of product lines and customer base
Compensation & Benefit Information:
Salary Pay Range: $70,000 -100,000 annually dependent on experience*
Bonus/Incentive Pay
For salaried bonus positions: Annual performance bonus opportunity based on Company and specific business unit ROI and PBOP achievement criteria and individual job responsibility and performance.
