Overview:
In consultation with the Vice President, the Director of Operations manages, supervises, and coordinates the day-to-day operations of the organization.
This role will pay a salary of $110,000 to $125,000.

Responsibilities:
Director Of Operations – Brulee Catering
Plans, organizes, directs, and controls the activities of the Brulee properties. Aligns the purchasing, logistics and culinary programs to ensure efficient processes along the full life cycle of the business. Builds infrastructure within operations department to clarify departmental area of responsibilities. Works with General Managers across the company to align goals, profitability and efficiencies. Collaborate with the Director of Culinary to ensure menu’s and events are accurately priced, and executed.
Participates in budget and forecasting for units within the Brulee Properties- Develop and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness
- Lead process improvement initiatives to streamline operations and reduce costs
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute strategic plans
- Provide guidance and support to department managers to ensure alignment with organizational goals
- Oversee project management activities, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the organization
- Identify business development opportunities and contribute to the growth of the organization.
Qualifications:
- B.S. or B.A. degree from an accredited college/university.

5-7+ years’ experience in operations management.

Must show demonstrated knowledge of catering operations, supervisory skills and experience in work crew supervision.

Ability to work event nights, weekends and holidays as required.

Knowledge of budget preparation and control.

Knowledge of OSHA and health department requirements

Knowledge of Event production and theatre technology

Capable of operating in Microsoft Office applications including: Excel, Word, Outlook

Ability to communicate with employees, co-workers, volunteers, management staff and guests in a clear, business-like and respectful manner which focuses on generating a positive, enthusiastic and cooperative work environment
