Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Store Manager to oversee our retail operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing staff, controlling inventory, and maximizing store profitability.
Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day store operations, including sales, inventory, and customer service
- Supervise and train store staff, ensuring high levels of productivity and customer satisfaction
- Implement strategies to meet sales targets and drive business growth
- Monitor stock levels and reorder merchandise as needed
- Conduct regular audits to ensure accurate inventory management
- Develop and implement promotional activities to increase sales
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints promptly
- Recruit, hire, and onboard new employees
- Conduct employee performance evaluations and provide feedback for improvement
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in retail management with a focus on stock control and sales management
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage a team
- Proficient in inventory management and retail math principles
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to recruit, train, and motivate employees effectively
- Knowledge of employee orientation processes and HR procedures
