Vital Care Medical Transport is a non-emergency medical transport company founded in Atlanta, GA. Its founders, a Firefighter and Clinical Pharmacist, are fiercely dedicated to delivering excellent patient care and improving health literacy in the patients it serves. Their years of experience in the healthcare field, as well as witnessing the plight of the underserved in their community, were the inspiration for the creation of this company.

Qualifications
- High School Diploma (Required)
- BLS certification (Required)
- Current GA state certification as an EMR, EMT-B, EMT-I, or EMT-A
- Current valid GA Driver’s License
- Clean driving record
- Clean background check
- Experience in non-emergency medical transport (Preferred), New grads are encouraged to apply as well
- Ability to lift and handle patients weighing at least 180 pounds on the stretcher. Must also be able to demonstrate safe and proper lifting techniques when transferring patients from bed to stretcher, while navigating stairs, and when loading patients onto the ambulance.
- An ideal candidate must be flexible in scheduling. Daily schedule is subject to change. Shifts range from 8 to 12 hours.

Duties and Responsibilities
- Maintain EMT certification as required by the State of Georgia Department of Public Health and Office of EMS and Trauma
- Maintain a current CPR card
- Maintain a current valid Driver’s License
- Maintain assigned ambulance in compliance with Georgia Department of Public Health rules and regulations and prepared to respond to non-emergency calls.
- Render appropriate medical care to assigned patients within the scope and guidance of VCMT medical protocols
- Complete daily inspection of assigned areas in a timely and accurate manner
- Personnel will be required to complete their own electronic patient care reports by the end of their shift.
- Perform any additional duties necessary for daily operations
