Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Behavior Technician to join our team. As a Behavior Technician, you will work with individuals with developmental disabilities, primarily autism, to implement behavior intervention plans and provide support in various settings.
Responsibilities:
- Implement behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
- Conduct direct 1:1 therapy sessions with clients
- Collect and record data on client behavior
- Assist in the development and maintenance of client treatment goals
- Collaborate with the treatment team to ensure consistency in implementing treatment plans
- Provide feedback to families on client progress
Requirements:
- Experience working with individuals with autism or developmental disabilities preferred
- Knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles
- Ability to conduct patient assessments and implement behavioral therapy techniques
- Familiarity with special education practices
- Strong interpersonal skills for working with clients, families, and colleagues
- Ability to maintain accurate medical documentation

Pay: $21.00 - $23.00 per hour
