Job Description: We're Seeking a Passionate Behavior Technician to Join Our Team! In This Role, You'll Work Closely with Children and Families, Delivering Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) Services. As a Behavior Technician, You'll Play a Vital Role in Implementing Behavior-Based Treatment Plans, Educating Parents, and Conducting Data Collection. This Position Offers Part-Time Hours with the Potential for Full-Time Engagement. We Provide Extensive Training, Enabling You to Become a Registered Behavior Technician. Responsibilities:
- Ability to work with children
- Collaboration with Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and Clinical Director
- Conducting Comprehensive Data Collection and Maintaining Session Reports
- Implementation of Behavior-Based Treatment Plans
- Educating Parents on Classroom Support Techniques
- Ensuring Safety and Quality Care for Clients
- Establishing Professional Relationships with Parents, Colleagues, and Community Resources
- Maintaining Training Materials and Supplies
- Serving as an Advocate for Children and Families, Facilitating Referrals to Community Resources
- Upholding Dress and Grooming Standards
- Other Duties as Assigned, Including Cleanup and Incident Reporting
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED Equivalent Preferred
- Experience with children and strong people skills
- Reliable Transportation and Valid Driver's License Required
- Ability to Lift 30 lbs. Regularly
- Strong Communication Skills (Verbal & Written)
- CPR/First Aid Certification Preferred
- Experience with Autism Spectrum Disorders Preferred, but Not Required (Training Provided)
