Become a key player as a Senior Electrical Engineer:
We are in search of a seasoned and reliable Senior Electrical Engineer to become a part of our team. The Senior Engineer will autonomously handle various ongoing projects in both design and construction phases. They will be accountable for crafting contract documents and specifications for intricate building systems, which involves performing advanced calculations, conducting systems analysis, ensuring the quality control of completed projects, and coordinating field/construction activities.
Here’s how you’ll make an impact on the team:-
Undertake comprehensive design tasks encompassing lighting, power, and fire alarm systems across projects of varying scales, ensuring meticulous equipment selection.

Evaluate system alternatives and assess the efficacy of existing systems when necessary.

Efficiently manage all aspects of project documentation, both internally within the company and in collaboration with clients.

Execute thorough designs in compliance with relevant codes, utilizing AutoCAD & Revit as per the architect's preference.

Compose detailed specifications to guide project implementation.

Offer support during bid and construction phases, including bid review, addressing RFIs, scrutinizing shop drawings, participating in site inspections, and furnishing field observation reports.

Demonstrate proficiency in building electrical systems, serving as a valued technical expert and resource within the office.
Here’s what you’ll need to be successful in this role:

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Architectural Engineering with a specialization in electrical systems

Minimum of 6 years of pertinent experience, with a mandatory 3-year tenure in the Chicago market

Preferred possession of a Professional Engineer certification
-
Proficiency in CAD and Revit software
Pay Range:
$85,000 - $135,000 annually
