USRBP is hiring a Financial Analyst for our Partner Firm, The Retirement Plan Company (TRPC). The role will also have responsibilities over related Partner Firms on the TRPC platform, including Ingham Retirement Group, The Paragon Alliance Group, Long Island Employee Benefits Group Ltd., Pension Administrative Services Inc., Jim Hallinan Pension Consulting, LLC, BENCOR and MidAmerica Administrative & Retirement Solutions. TRPC also has a Service Center based in India. US offices are in Brentwood, TN, Lakeland, FL, Miami, FL, Hartford, CT and Iselin, NJ (National Office).
Position Overview:
The Retirement Plan Company, LLC (TRPC) is currently seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Financial Analyst to help build our growing benefits and retirement practice. The position will play a critical role in supporting various aspects of financial analysis, reporting, and strategic decision-making within our retirement and benefits division.
The Financial Analyst will play an important and highly visible role in the ongoing integration of existing and newly acquired firms into the greater TRPC structure as a Partner Firm under USRBP. These integration responsibilities will require frequent interactions with personnel at the National Office and other Partner Firms. Integration responsibilities will include supporting the adoption of USRBP reporting standards, the integration of the forecasts, and the alignment of metrics with segment and company-wide needs.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field required
- 3+ years of experience in financial analysis, investment analysis, or related field, preferably in the retirement and benefits industry
- Strong proficiency in financial modeling, data analysis, and quantitative techniques
- Advanced knowledge of Excel, financial modeling software, and data visualization tools; experience with SQL and Access a plus
- Experience working with offshore entities preferred

Responsibilities:
· Financial Analysis and Reporting
- Conduct in-depth financial analysis of retirement and benefits products, services, and investments to support decision-making and strategic planning
- Develop a deep understanding of underlying drivers of revenue and report on these metrics, including trend analysis
- Identify and report on key drivers of expense
- Build profitability models for all key products and services and update regularly
- Develop month end reporting on key financial trends and metrics for senior management and the National Office
- Develop financial models and tools to assess the impact of different scenarios and variables on financial outcomes
· Budgeting and Forecasting
- Working closely with the Controller and the National Office finance team, support the annual budgeting process, with a focus on revenue
- Produce monthly reforecasts, incorporating all significant changes and providing analysis of variances from the original plan and prior year
- Utilizing the company’s CRM data, develop revenue forecasts based on the sales pipeline
- Evaluate the conversion of sales opportunities to revenue
- Develop long-term, multi-year forecast
- Support cash flow forecasting
· Sales and Operational Support
- Working closely with the sales team, develop pricing models for all significant products and services
- Provide ad-hoc pricing as needed
- Analyze commissions and other costs to acquire customers; develop reporting that evaluates the effectiveness of incentive plans and suggest improvements
- Support marketing efforts by providing key marketing metrics
- Provide unit costing analysis to operational leaders, including key metrics and trends
· Consolidation and Integration
- Provide all reporting at both a consolidated segment-level view and a disaggregated Partner Firm view, treating each Partner Firm as its own profit center
- Determine appropriate allocation of revenue and costs between Partner Firms, working closely with the Accounting team
- Develop models to determine internal transfer prices for segment services provided to other USRBP Partner Firms
· Process Improvement
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and optimization in financial analysis, reporting, and decision-making processes
- Implement best practices and innovative solutions to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and effectiveness of financial analysis activities
- Leverage knowledge of operations to identify inefficiencies and recommend solutions
· Communication and Teamwork
- Present results and analysis to senior management and other leaders
- Provide recommendations and defend positions with data
- Train and work with team members from the India Service Center
- Support other members of the finance team, especially in the areas billing and revenue recognition processes
