Job Title: Operator Level 1
Job Summary:
Level I Operator will support various processing and product filling operation. Under general supervision, perform duties to follow prescribed filling/packaging procedures for consumable products and/or established assembly instructions for equipment products.
Duties:
- Safely operate and properly adjust all equipment utilized in the filling of product containers in MI Paste.
- Machine Operator Experience, machine is constantly running, and safety is number one priority
- Inspect and track parts and processes during production
- Ensure quality of final product
- Maintain the work area and equipment in clean and orderly condition
- Report defective material or questionable condition to the department supervisor or lead
- Associate will be expected to wear full garment suit, including mask, safety glasses and gloves
- Must practice good hygiene, clean work conditions are to be maintained daily
- Ability to read and write legibly, this position requires batch records to be filled on hourly basis
- Experience with computers/SAP/Web Based WIP Systems
- Working in team environment is essential to success in this role
- Overtime is required/expected
- Expected to be on feet/standing throughout shift
- Steel-Toe Shoes are required
Minimum Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Basic understanding of manufacturing process
- Basic math skills and reading skills
- Positive attitude
- Ability to work flexible shift and meet attendance requirements
- Ability to communicate and exchange information with supervisor and team members
- Ability to wear dust mask/respirator as needed/required
