Responsibilities:
- Manages inventory, processes, and expedites supply transactions to insure receipt of required items.
- Multi-tasking is key and being able to finish tasks in a timely manner.
- Assists mechanics in the research of parts requested.
- Coordinates, arranges, and expedites flow of material, parts, and assemblies between company locations and vendors.
- Completes and maintains required paperwork.
- Performs clerical and physical tasks regarding shipping and receiving parts and equipment.
- Verifies outbound shipments are accurate by comparing items to be shipped with documents, ensures items are properly packaged and keeps records of items shipped.
- Verifies incoming shipments for accuracy by comparing items received with manifests. Checks for damaged items as well as ensures items are properly identified in inventory or for distribution to appropriate maintenance activity.
- Maintains hardware carts, free stock supplies, and consumables.
- Processes tools for repairs and calibration.
- Operates general and special purpose motor vehicles, including tugs and forklifts.
- Makes deliveries and pickups as time permits and with prior approval around the DFW area.
- Practices good housekeeping, tool control, FOD awareness/prevention and safety at all times.
- Work according to Company regulations and procedures and instructions from supervisor.
- Read and write legibly to complete forms and/or acknowledge messages, as well as identify company part numbers, invoice, bill of lading, and shipper numbers, as required
Requirements:
- Minimum age: 21
- Desire a minimum of two years' hands-on material coordinator, material expediter, or Parts Clerk experience.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Valid unexpired and unsuspended driver’s license; some license restrictions may prohibit a candidate from being eligible for position.
- Must be able to operate a computer and programs such as Outlook, Microsoft Office applications, etc.
- Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
- Must have ability to solve daily problems.
- Must be able to deal with the customers and employees in a courteous, professional, and effective manner.
- Be able to lift/carry up to 50lbs, push-pull, walking, sitting, standing, climbing, kneeling, bending, crouching, and reaching.
- Possess the legal right to work in the United States.
