What you will do as a Lead DSP:
The goal is to help the people you support feel and become as independent as possible while they live their daily lives. Among other things, you will:

Join and help people you support while they shop for groceries, clothes, or run errands.

Attend events in the community and special celebrations like birthday parties.

Give medications and other treatments, and complete required documentation.

Help people you support to prepare meals, clean, eat, take care of personal hygiene, and get around at home and outside.
Minimum qualifications:

Must have a minimum of 1-2 years of Direct Support Professional experience

High School Diploma or GED preferred, but not required
-
Acceptable driving record and valid driver’s license preferred

Acceptable background check
