Position Title: Wealth Advisor Residency Program Chair
Reports To: LW Wealth Advisor
FLSA Status: Exempt
Summary
In this entry-level position, wealth associates will gain exposure in many areas of the firm with the expectation that their career may advance towards that of a wealth advisor with a book of business or other LW internal team.
Client Responsibilities
- May be asked to participate in client meetings with a WA 1-3
Team Responsibilities
- Participate and be a valuable contributor in various team meetings across departments
- Assist a wealth advisory team in development of financial plans and recommendations
- Assist a wealth advisory team with client onboarding and servicing
- Help prepare materials needed for client meetings and follow-up
Firm Responsibilities
- Understand and support the firm’s vision, mission, and strategy
- Engage in teambuilding and integrate into the culture of the firm
- Participate in the Wealth Advisor Residency Program
Degrees and Designations
- Bachelor’s degree (B.A. or B.S.) from a four‐year college or university, in Financial Planning, Finance, Accounting, or other business-related degree
Experience Requirement
- No prior professional work experience required
- Industry related internship experience is a plus

- Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel
- Strong writing skills
- Experience with a CRM Database, Document Management software, eMoney or other Financial Planning software is a plus
Skills Being Developed
- Core knowledge of the wealth management industry, the fiduciary model, and wealth planning concepts
- Knowledge of the firm’s wealth planning and other core systems
- Knowledge of technology solutions used by the firm
- Reviews, mentors, and trains CS team members
- Assists and directs CS team with regards to more complex client situations
- Provides consultation and recommendation to CS Manager
