This opportunity is with Adams Power in Denmark, WI. The Generator Technician is responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical generators and related equipment. This role ensures all generator systems function efficiently and safely, meeting industry standards and regulations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Install, inspect, and maintain generators and associated electrical systems in various commercial, industrial, and residential settings.

Troubleshoot and repair electrical issues in the generator, including wiring, controls, and circuit components.

To ensure optimal generator performance, perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, filter replacements, and battery checks.

Test and calibrate generator systems to meet safety and performance standards.

Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams to diagnose and resolve issues with generator systems.

Collaborate with other technicians, engineers, and contractors on generator-related projects.

Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair work, documenting all service activities and parts used.

Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines, ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations.

Respond to emergency call-outs for generator breakdowns or malfunctions, providing timely and effective solutions.
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:

A high school diploma or equivalent is required

Previous experience as a generator electrical technician or in a similar role.

Strong knowledge of electrical systems, circuitry, and safety protocols.

Proficiency in using tools and equipment commonly used in generator maintenance and repair.

Ability to read and interpret technical documents and schematics.

Valid driver's license and ability to travel to job sites as needed.
Computer Skills:
PC proficiency is required, with experience in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel and Outlook
