Overview:
Join the Hotel Nickel Plate team as part of the housekeeping department, responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and ensuring a comfortable environment for our guests. As a key member of our Housekeeping Department, you will be responsible for upholding high standards of cleanliness and sanitation.
Duties:
- Perform cleaning tasks such as dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing bathrooms to ensure all assigned areas meet established standards.
- Upkeep of the hotel's restaurant outlet, Derailed: Flooring, windows, etc...
- Respond promptly to guest requests and ensure their needs are met efficiently.
- Maintain cleanliness in common areas including hallways, lobbies, and public restrooms.
- Handle and report all lost and found items according to procedures.
- Keep supply closets organized and stocked with necessary items.
Experience:
- Prior experience in housekeeping or custodial roles is preferred.
- Familiarity with industrial cleaning practices is a plus.
- Knowledge of floor care techniques is advantageous.
- Experience in hospitality or hotel settings is desirable.
Skills:
- Ability to lift and carry objects up to 50 pounds.
- Proficiency in using cleaning tools and equipment.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with team members and guests.
- Capability to work independently and follow instructions diligently.
- Basic understanding of English language for comprehending labels and instructions.
