A mid-size tech firm in Brooklyn, NY has an immediate opening for an office/warehouse administrator. The Office/Warehouse administrator will provide support to the Senior Vice President of Compliance addressing workplace health and safety, training, and updating documentation to ensure compliance.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Provide regular, frequent safety and compliance checks
- Ensure that maintenance logs are up to date and assisting the SVP with documentation and taking corrective action as necessary
- Maintain training records
- Complete and file export/import documentation ensuring compliance to U.S. and foreign laws as well as compliance to e-Stewards' and Liquid Technology's standards and procedures
- Identify, correct, and document minor nonconformities as necessary
- Review risk assessments as necessary
- Review and make recommendations for improvement
Required Skills
- Experience with MS Office and Google Suite
- Strong communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills
- A strong work ethic with a very high attention to detail
- Dedication and a genuine desire to help improve the workplace
- Some travel will be required
- Steel toed boots must be worn at all times while in the warehouse
- Any knowledge of e-Stewards and related requirements would be a huge plus
- Knowledge and/or interest in computer hardware is a plus
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
- Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds at times
- Must be able to stand and walk up to 3 hours daily
- Must be able to reach overhead
This position is on-site 5 days per week with a possible transition to hybrid/remote upon satisfactory completion of training.
