Overview:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Preschool Teachers/TA to join our 2024-2025 school year team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with young children and a strong background in curriculum development and childhood development.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum to stimulate the intellectual, social, and emotional growth of preschool-aged children
- Create engaging lesson plans that promote learning through play and exploration
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow
- Monitor and assess each child's progress to ensure developmental milestones are met
- Manage classroom activities effectively, including behavior management techniques
- Collaborate with parents to support each child's individual needs and development
Skills:
- Experience working with children in a classroom setting
- Strong knowledge of childhood development principles
- Ability to create and implement engaging lesson plans
- Familiarity with Montessori or other progressive teaching methodologies
- Proficiency in standardized testing procedures for young learners
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with children, parents, and colleagues
- Strong organizational skills to manage classroom activities effectively
- Previous experience in tutoring or child welfare is a plus
