Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Program Director to lead and manage our, Article 29-I Health Facility. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in program development, management, and supervision. The Program Director will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, ensuring program goals are met, and fostering positive relationships with clients, staff, and stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
- That all clinic staff receive proper supervision, including clinical supervision.
- That all A29I staff document all services properly.
- Works with the Quality Assurance and Fiscal Departments on Revenue Cycle Management, following up on missing documentation where necessary so that the agency may bill for all services and children
- Oversees the establishment of treatment goals for children, utilizing historical and current available information in conjunction with LCSW.
- Supervise the determination and documentation of medical necessity for Core Limited Health-Related Services based on information obtained from the initial health screening at the time of the child’s admission into foster care.
- Monitor and evaluate program performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
- Ensure compliance with organizational policies, state and federal regulations, and accreditation standards.
- Develop and maintain relationships with healthcare professionals, social workers, and other service providers.
- Participate in community outreach and engagement efforts to promote program services and increase awareness of organizational offerings.
- Provide crisis intervention and support as needed to ensure the well-being of clients.
Qualifications:
- Current Licensure by the New York State Department of Education as a psychiatrist or psychologist or licensed clinical social worker.
- Understanding of Medicaid managed care and of foster care.
- Experience with budgeting and financial management, with a track record of effectively allocating resources.
- Background in social work or a related field, with a strong understanding of the needs and challenges faced by individuals with developmental disabilities and behavioral health issues.
- Excellent communication and relationship management skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, families, and stakeholders.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing multiple tasks and responsibilities while maintaining a high level of quality and attention to detail.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $95,000.00 - $115,000.00 per year
