Job Summary
The Team Lead, Configuration Services, oversees and executes the configuration project life cycle while holding team members accountable for production quality and goals and for adhering to HR policies. This is a working lead position. Any extra time will be delegated to production work.
Required Education and Experience
The following requirements are job-related and consistent with business necessity.
- High school degree or equivalent
- Class C (passenger vehicle) driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Able to pass a basic math skills test encompassing addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and calculating percentages

Preferred Education and Experience
The following requirements are job-related and consistent with business necessity.
- Associate’s degree in computer science or related field
- Two-year’s experience in a comparable position
- One-year experience working with Arduino scripts
Essential Functions

- Oversees and executes the configuration project life cycle, including troubleshooting any issues. Sets project expectations. Provides daily project updates to team members and answers team members’ questions and/or concerns
- Preps production for configurations by setting up projects, testing, creating, and updating Arduino scripts, testing and updating USB drives, testing workbenches to ensure they are working properly, and works with the warehouse staff to identify, stage, and organize product in the warehouse
- Checks project data quality at each configuration stage and tracks actual work completed to goal. Complete quality checks manually and systemically, including project checklist, End Scan Reports, and other post-mortem duties
- Completes daily end-of-day production report with production status and staffing updates
- Escalates unresolvable issues, production hurdles, and staffing issues to the Production & Delivery Manager, Configuration Services
- Holds team members accountable for production quality and goals and for adhering to HR policies
- Completes production work as time and team lead responsibilities allow
- Documents coaching interactions and performance incidents in Teamsuite
- As required per customer request: Correspond daily with customer’s representative, resolve individual and kit requests, maintain inventory levels and tracking information
- Manages DOA process from receipt to refurbish, setting team expectations, and updating the DOA tracker
- Maintains configuration supplies, updates tracker biweekly, submits inventory requests in a timely manner and allowing a two-week lead time for custom-made boxes
- Receives product into inventory system, prepares for shipment
- Reviews and approves team member timesheets, provides training, resolves scheduling issues, prepares and presents employee performance reviews, approves time-off schedules and paid time-off scheduling, fixes miss punches and incorrect codes, prepares incident reports, and participants in disciplinary actions
Competencies
- Possess basic math skills
- Knowledge of basic computer, tablet, and accessory operations, including web-based application, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Word, Google Workspace, and QR and barcode scanners
- Able to read proficiently, speak clearly and concisely, engage in active listening, and exercise near-vision acuity
- Able to executive repeat fine manipulations of fingers
Additional Eligibility Requirements
Upon offer of employment, selected candidates must pass a pre-employment drug test, Federal Criminal History Record, Child Abuse History Certification, Motor Vehicle Record, and Pennsylvania State Police Criminal Record background check at Pierson’s expense.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is an hourly overtime-eligible position. The work schedule is 40 hours or more per week with coverage Monday through Thursday, 6 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. with an unpaid 30-minute lunch and Friday 7 to 11 a.m. Some overtime is possible requiring the ability to occasionally work to 5 p.m. or later with management approval. This position may also need to occasionally travel for day and overnight trips.
Supervisory Responsibilities
This position has direct reports with the Configuration Center team members reporting to the Team Leads.
Travel
Less than 10%. Travel is primarily local during the business day, if needed, although some out-of-the-area and overnight travel may be expected. Travel in a personal vehicle will be reimbursed at the IRS mileage rate.

This position reports to the Production & Delivery Manager, Configuration Services.
