We are searching for young talent that are ready to jumpstart their medical careers. Certainly, experienced medical personnel are appreciated and accepted as well. We are hiring a Patient Care Technician (PCT) with an opportunity for growth within a quickly growing medical company. The ideal candidate has a great attitude, integrity, detail driven, independent thinker, communicates well and is eager to learn more about the medical field.
Our PCTs work at a specific account but in some scenarios, will have responsibility in the field directly with patients to provide their orthopedic/DME bracing needs. A consistent account schedule is set for physician office hours but can vary an hour infrequently. It is a part-time position based on account hours, preparation, organization, and home deliveries. It is likely that the hours will increase to close to full time in the near future. Without question, Medkinect promotes growth internally that can lead to endless opportunities including sales, based on the applicant's performance. We are looking for motivated individuals who can work efficiently to meet their own goals and our company's goals, collectively. This position requires training that is provided by the company in all products that may be prescribed by a physician. The company will also provide ongoing training and in-service as products change or to refresh knowledge base. Knowledge of anatomy and medical and insurance terminology, is a plus. Position responsibilities include but are not limited to: Fitting patients with orthopedic bracing - Completing patient paperwork for billing and inventory purposes - Inventory management - Communicating with patients, physicians, and internal office staff - Insurance verification - Ensuring HIPAA compliance
