Responsibilities include a variety of hands-on patient care duties, including assisting with patient flow, rooming patients, assisting in general dermatology and cosmetic procedures, surgery assisting, Electronic Medical Record scribing on an iPad, lab duties, and phlebotomy.
Qualifications:

Certification as a Medical Assistant from a nationally accredited program (AAMA, NHA, NCCT, or AMT with a current Medical Assistant Certification or License (OR-MA-C or OR-MA-R) preferred

A minimum of one year of prior outpatient medical assistant experience is preferred.

BLS certification.

Solid understanding of medical terminology, procedures, and healthcare practices

Adheres to all policies and procedures in performing job duties and responsibilities while supporting a culture of high-quality and excellent customer service

Strong attention to detail and accuracy in maintaining medical records

Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work efficiently in a fast-paced medical environment

Performs other duties that may be necessary or in the organization's best interest.
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 36-40 hours per week, day shift
Wages: The entry level wage for this position is $19.50, wages are determined based on experience.
