The Endoscopy Assistant RN Manager will have the opportunity to serve on an award-winning team at a comprehensive medical center known for outstanding programs in cancer, cardiology, orthopaedics, neurosciences, women’s services, emergency and trauma care, pediatrics, neonatal intensive care, among many other specialties.
The Endoscopy Assistant RN Manager will demonstrate leadership by promoting effective working relationships and work cooperatively as a part of the department team to facilitate the department’s ability to meet its goals and objectives. The Endoscopy Assistant Nurse Manager oversees the day-to-day workflow and patient flow of the unit including staffing, and staffing assignments. The Endoscopy Assistant RN Manager will effectively collaborate with, and be supported by its counterpart, the Assistant Nurse Manager of the OR and PACU in order to oversee a 17 bed unit and staff progress. The Endoscopy Assistant RN Manager will conduct daily staff huddles, oversee 35 FTEs, report to the Director of the Operating Room, and keep the Director informed of daily departmental activity. The Endoscopy Assistant RN Manager will assume staff nurse responsibilities, when the need arises, and will foster and maintain provider relationships. The Endoscopy Assistant RN Manager must be able to communicate effectively among all levels of staff and colleagues throughout the organization.
