OT and SLP Positions
Job Overview:
Grace Therapies is seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist, Speech-Language Pathologist, Occupational Therapy Assistant, and Speech-Language Pathology Assistant to join our team. We are a pediatric therapy company based in Fort Pierce, FL. We provide services at ~13 various locations, throughout St. Lucie County (daycares/preschools, PPECs, private/charter schools).
We currently have a schedule opportunity for supervision only (for SLP/OTR) all the way to full time treatment hours, depending on the therapist's needs. Duties:
- SLP/OTR Assess patient for therapy intervention and implement treatment plans, when recommending services
- Provide therapeutic interventions to patients, including therapeutic exercises, activities, and modalities, in various settings
- Supervise Assistants/Students and treatment caseload
- Assistants provide support to supervising therapist with accurate documentation and collaboration
- Monitor and document patient progress during therapy sessions
- Collaborate with the other treating therapists to modify treatment plans as needed
- Educate patients and their families on therapeutic techniques and home exercise programs
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
Experience:
To be successful in this role, you should have the following skills and qualifications:
- Licensed by the Stated of Florida Department of Health
- Knowledge of occupational health principles and practices
- Ability to work effectively with pediatrics
