**Overview:**
The Director of Business Services serves as a central role in maintaining the school’s business and financial systems. This position is responsible for oversight of accounting, payroll, purchasing, and federal/state/ local grants. The Director of Business Services will work closely with the Superintendent to ensure that the operational functions, including finance and legal compliance support the financial success of the district. Under the direction of the Superintendent, the Director of Business Services will perform all duties necessary to support the budget functions, fiscal reporting, and coordination of workflow and staff operations within the Business Office.

**QUALIFICATIONS:**
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance or applicable School District Experience
- Proficient use of accounting and payroll software including databases and spreadsheets
- Ability to demonstrate critical thinking skills when completing unique or complex job assignments
- Personal attributes necessary for working within a team setting and creating an inviting and welcoming office environment
- Ability to set priorities, maintain flexibility, and handle multiple tasks accurately
- High level communication skills, ability to present to various groups including the School Board, staff and community members
- Ability to build solid relationships across all levels of the School District
- Demonstration of professionalism and ethical practices
JOB GOALS:

SALARY: Competitive salary and benefits, based on qualifications and experience.

Pay: $90,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
