Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the financial and administrative operations of the dealership.
- Work closely with the sales team to manage the sales process from initial customer contact through vehicle delivery.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with financial institutions and lenders.
- Present and sell finance and insurance products to customers, including extended warranties, service contracts, and GAP insurance.
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations related to automotive finance and insurance.
- Prepare and process all necessary paperwork and documentation for vehicle sales and financing.
- Analyze and manage dealership financial performance, including profit margins and expense control.
- Provide training and support to sales staff on finance and insurance products and procedures.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues related to finance and insurance.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of finance and insurance products, industry trends, and regulatory changes.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an Automotive Business Manager, Finance Manager, or similar role in an automotive dealership.
- Strong understanding of automotive finance and insurance products and processes.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with customers, lenders, and colleagues.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
- Proficiency with dealership management software and financial reporting tools.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- High school diploma or equivalent; further education or certification in finance or business administration is a plus.
- A valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
