Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate Nursing Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide direct patient care and support to ensure the comfort and well-being of our residents.
Responsibilities:
- Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Monitor vital signs and report any changes to the nursing staff
- Help with mobility and positioning of residents
- Provide emotional support and companionship to residents
- Assist in meal preparation and feeding as needed
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of a state-approved Nursing Assistant training program
- Current certification as a Nursing Assistant
- Experience in dementia care, home care, or medical terminology is a plus
- Knowledge of caregiving principles and practices
- Familiarity with critical care, infectious disease care, medication administration systems, geriatrics, and acute care
