What You’ll Do:
As a Learning & Development Instructional Design Coordinator you will be responsible for supporting the creation, planning and delivery of engaging training programs and tools that support a field employee’s experience, from new hire onboarding to career development programs. Through creativity, curiosity, organization, and strong content development skills, you will play a significant role in developing our employees and future leaders across the global organization.
Strategy

Partner closely with the Capri Learning and Development Team along with the Michael Kors Retail team to continue to build training programs to drive engagement and support the career growth of our corporate and retail populations within the Capri Holdings’ group (Jimmy Choo, Versace, Michael Kors), with a primary focus on the Michael Kors brand.

Develop new ways of training employees, virtually, in person and on-demand, through a new Learning Experience Platform
Daily Operations

Work closely with the Director, Learning & Development of Michael Kors to build and manage training programs that support the onboarding and career progression of our Retail Management employees.

Work closely with the Capri Global Learning & Development team to support the creation and facilitation of new hire orientation and global onboarding materials and tools

Participate in the development of all on-going seasonal training content for Retail and Wholesale Field programs including but not limited to: Product Knowledge, Sales, Service, and Styling tools, Onboarding Programs, Web-Based Learning, and bespoke trainings

Support the evolution of our retail training tools, partnering with the team to come up with creative solutions to build dynamic and multi-faceted content

Seek new methods and innovative, science-based solutions to improve existing training content and learner retention

Support the department in measuring the outcomes, effectiveness and return on investment of learning initiatives

Manage the maintenance of team project plans, calendars, and internal distribution lists.

Assist department in developing and executing design concepts for all training programs, adhering to Michael Kors brand standards, while bringing fresh ideas and a new approach

Key developer of creating various content types such as, but not limited to, training videos, e-learnings, video clips, interactive guides, PDFs and ppt presentations.

Conduct market/competitive research and industry trends in graphic design, video editing and social

Assist with Ad Hoc training projects and research for the department, as needed.

Other administrative/coordination duties as assigned
You’ll Need to Have:

Bachelor’s Degree

Minimum of 1 year of experience in design, retail a plus
-
Outstanding written and verbal communication and presentation skills.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Adobe applications

Video content creation and editing skills
-
Ability to prioritize in a fast-paced work environment, pivot quickly based on changing business needs, manage time appropriately, and remain composed under pressure.

Demonstrated ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.

Compensation Range:
$44,000.00-$60,000.00
