Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team as an Assistant Director. The Assistant Director will play a key role in supporting the Director in the strategic planning, leadership, and management of our organization. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a passion for education administration and a desire to make a positive impact in the field.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the Director in developing and implementing strategic plans and initiatives
- Collaborate with staff to ensure effective program delivery and educational outcomes
- Provide leadership and guidance to staff members, fostering a positive and productive work environment
- Manage day-to-day operations, including scheduling, staffing, and facility management
- Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including parents, students, and community partners
- Support the implementation of policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulations and best practices
- Cover lunch breaks and staff vacations.
Experience:
- Associates degree in Education or related field preferred
- Proven experience in an early childhood education administration or related leadership role
- Strong strategic planning skills, with the ability to set goals and objectives
- Excellent leadership abilities, with a track record of motivating and inspiring teams
- Ability to educate and communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders
- Minimum of 2 years experience in a licensed childcare center is mandatory
- Knowledge of relevant regulations and best practices in education administration

Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
Expected hours: 39 – 40 per week
