Assitant Project Manager / Estimator

As an Assistant Project Manager / Estimator with Momentum, you will work with the latest estimating and project management tools, such as Accubid, Fieldwire, and Bluebeam. Additionally, we are using BIM tools such as Revit and Trimble Robotic Stations, putting you at the forefront of construction technology.

What this job involves
As an Assistant Project Manager / Estimator with Momentum Electrical, you will play an important role in delivering successful bids and projects. Responsibilities include:
1. Support foreman and field electricians to manage projects
2. Perform take-offs from plans using Accubid Anywhere
3. Attend pre-bid meetings and site visits as required
4. Prepare estimates and support documentation
5. Draft proposal preparations and client presentations
6. Monitor project progress using metrics such as labor hours and materials costs
7. Communicate with clients, vendors, subcontractors, engineers, support staff and project managers to resolve issues and obtain new opportunities

Education And Experience
- A Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in Architecture, Engineering or Construction Management is preferred or…
- 2-5 years of relevant experience related to electrical construction and project management, particularly if you can show rapid progression
